The second amazing thing that happened was “The King” received Image of the Year from the Channel City Camera Club.

Went to Boston a few days ago and while wandering through Boston Commons, I ran across this little squirrel that was actually making squeaking noises. I had never heard a squirrel do that before.
On January 3rd, Rachel and I drove from San Francisco back home to Carpinteria. Along the way, we stopped a few times to capture a few images of our journey.
The first stop was around Moss Landing. Here, there were some pretty frisky seals.

And these guys just cracked me up. They started barking like wild seals as soon as I started taking pictures of them.

A little ways down the coast, we stopped a few times just to take in the scenery.

Later this year is the Big Sur marathon and this is just one of the bridges you’ll cross if you run it.
